Barcelona to Add Exceptional Striker to Squad Claim
Are Barcelona ready to spend big (again)?
When Neymar decided that he`d prefer life in Paris as opposed to life in Barcelona, it signalled the end of the Messi-Suarez-Neymar front-three that was, by far, the most potent in European football.
However, losing Neymar hasn`t impacted on Barcelona`s chase for silverware this season with the club looking set to regain the La Liga title whilst also pushing on for Champions League glory.
But, as many teams have found out, it is a dangerous game to stand still and put a hold on recruitment, progress is a continuous goal in a football world that stands still for nobody.
To that effect, it is being reported by the English news source, The Sun, that Barcelona are amongst a trio of clubs looking to persuade Liverpool, this summer, to sell Mohamed Salah.
Since moving back to the English Premier League, the Egyptian has excelled scoring 28 Premier League goals in his first season back.
However, as you`d expect, there are other cubs monitoring the situation with our Spanish rivals Real Madrid and the emerging European force that is Paris Saint-Germain, all ready to get involved in something akin to an auction that would see Salah cost the victor a cool £200 million.
Could, next season, Barcelona be playing a front-three of Messi, Suarez and Salah?
The prospect is mouth-watering.
