Barcelona Have Concerns Relating to Messi`s Future

When Barcelona and Lionel Messi concluded negotiations on the Argentine`s latest contract, both parties were very happy.

Messi got the security he craved whilst Barcelona secured the services of what we perceive as the best player in the world.

But, in the world of football, things can change so quickly.

When the deal was sealed it was announced that the 30-year-old Argentine superstar had a buy-out clause in his contract of a staggering £625 million.

But, according to the news source, the Daily Mail, the insinuation is being given that Mess`s future at the Camp Nou might not be as secure as first thought.

Our referenced source is reporting that Barcelona are concerned that a rival club might have the audacity to meet that huge buy-out clause an offer.

With the transfer of Neymar, from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, having raised the bar, Barcelona might be right to have concern, but, seriously, in this era of Financial Fair Play regulations, any club that meets the buy-out clause will have to have an incredible turnover not to fall foul of the rules.

Besides, would Messi be interested in leaving his beloved Barcelona?
