Chelsea 1 Barcelona 1 - Post-Match Stat Attack

Chelsea 1 Barcelona 1 - Post-Match Stat Attack

Following the hard-earned 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, against Chelsea, we`ve delved into the record books and come up with a few facts and figures.

• The game saw Luis Suarez again fail to find the net in the Champions League, our striker has now gone 881 minutes without scoring a goal in the Champions League, hopefully that matter will be dealt with in the second-leg.

• The goal Lionel Messi scored, his first against Chelsea, made it 71 different clubs the Argentine has scored against, leaving just 11 clubs he has played against, for Barcelona, without scoring.

• Barcelona`s poor record against Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge, continued when the goal Willian scored made it 7 consecutive games we`ve conceded in away to Chelsea.

• The last time Barcelona won at Stamford Bridge was back in February 206 when we triumphed 2-1

• Lionel Messi has now scored 18 goals in 27 appearances against English sides including 8 in his last 5 games.

• The Brazilian, Willian, was Chelsea`s danger man in this game, aside from scoring, he hit both posts with shots that ter Stegen could only admire, his shooting from range has paid dividends for Chelsea, with the Brazilian netting 6 of his 9 Champions League goals from outside the box.
