Barcelona v Deportivo La Coruna - Early Team-News

Barcelona welcome Deportivo La Coruna to the Nou Camp for a La Liga fixture this evening.

With Real Madrid pre-occupied with the FIFA Club World Cup this weekend, the fixture gives Barcelona the perfect opportunity to increase the gap between the two sides to eleven points as the two sides prepare to go head-to-head next weekend.

Ahead of the game, we have some early team-news.

Starting with Barcelona:

Ernesto Valverde is expected to welcome back Andres Iniesta who missed the 2-0 win against Villarreal last weekend.

Also, back in the squad is Javier Mascherano, with the Argentine international having recovered from a problem he picked up whilst on international duty.

But Barcelona will be without his reliable defender Samuel Umtiti who remains on the side-lines with a muscle injury.

With regards to Barcelona`s two long-term injuries both Ousmane Dembele and Rafinha won`t feature again for Barcelona this year.

Continuing with Deportivo La Coruna;

Our visitors will be without the injured duo of Gerard Valentin ad Fede Cartabia, whilst another player, Raul Albentosa is rated as doubtful.
