Barcelona Target Will Be Allowed to Leave His Club

It remains to be seen if the ongoing speculation linking Antoine Griezmann with a move to the Camp Nou results in the player eventually signing for the club.

However, it does seem that when it comes to the long-term future of the French international striker who is currently on the books of Atletico Madrid, it is elsewhere.

The English news source, the Daily Mail has picked up on something featured by the French news source L`Equipe whereby the Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, has remarked to the media,

"Of course Griezmann will be able to leave at some point, the same way Diego Costa and Arda Turan were allowed to leave.

"I love my players a lot and I love to see them grow. I am not ungrateful.

"If a player comes to me and says, 'Coach, I have a once in a lifetime chance to play for a certain team, I want to leave'. If he did all he could for me as Griezmann does, I'll say it's no problem. I know that he needs to grow."

But where to?

Will it be the Camp Nou or will the Frenchman get the move to Old Trafford that seemed odds-on last summer?
