Barcelona - The Coutinho Saga Rumbles On

The on-going saga relating to the possibility of Philippe Coutinho joining Barcelona continues to rumble on.

After having three bids rejected last summer, the third of which was rumoured to be in the region of £119 million, the media are championing different stories with regards to what might happen this January.

Starting with The Guradian, they`re reporting that Barcelona are set to launch another bid for the Brazilian with the Barcelona CEO, Oscar Grau, remarking,

"We are ready to sign Coutinho or any other player during the January transfer window. We have the money."

However, turning to another news source, The Independent, it appears that Liverpool, who rate Coutinho at £197 million, are set to refuse to enter into any negotiations relating to a transfer.

Finally, the good folk of the Daily Mail, courtesy of something they`ve picked up from the Spanish news vehicle, Mundo Deportivo, which infers that a deal has been struck with Liverpool that will allow Coutinho to leave Liverpool for the Camp Nou, for a fee of £98.6 million.
