Iniesta Staying at Barcelona for Life

Any speculation that the Barcelona midfielder, Andres Iniesta, would be leaving the Camp Nou, have been firmly quashed.

The club has announced that our current captain, has put pen-to-paper on what is being described as a 'life-time contract` with the club.

Releasing details of the deal, the club issued a statement that read
'Andres Iniesta signed a lifetime contract with FC Barcelona on Friday, in a deal that will keep him at the club for the rest of his career.'

As a player with Barcelona, the 33-year-old has made 639 appearances, a figure that leaves him second in the all-time appearance list, whilst also scoring 55 goals.

Iniesta joined Barcelona at the age of 12/b> coming through the fames La Masia youth academy.

Since making his debut for Barcelona in October 2002, he has helped the club win:

A wonderful servant to the greatest club in the land and a player we`re glad is staying with the club.
