And Barcelona`s Plan B Is?

With the deadline Barcelona imposed upon Liverpool, with regards to the latest offer made to the club for Philippe Coutinho, is it time to switch our attentions elsewhere?

Liverpool seem intent on hanging on to their 25-year-old Brazilian, however much Barcelona offer the English Premier league club and despite the player wanting to make the move to the Camp Nou.

One media source, the English red-top publication the Mirror, is suggesting that Barcelona do have a Plan B.

Our aforementioned source is of the belief that the player Barcelona will turn to if Liverpool do not sell Philippe Coutinho is Angel di Maria.

In effect, it will see Barcelona return to Paris Saint-Germain some of the huge sum they received from the French club for the sale of Neymar Jnr.

But what is the feeling of the Vital Barcelona membership, would Di Maria be a decent alternative to Philippe Coutinho?

Its not 'if Liverpool dont sell coutinho to barcelona', its 'they wont sell coutinho to barcelona'. I'd be very surprised if Liverpool ever do business with barca again after taping up coutinho and upsetting the club just before a new season!
