Barcelona will need 5 star performance

Barcelona will need 5 star performance

Once again Barcelona have left themselves with an awful lot to do in the UEFA Champions League, this time against Juventus.

We all know what happened when Barcelona returned to Camp Nou 4-0 down against Paris Saint-German, this time they returned following a 3-0 defeat to Juventus.

A dramatic last minute victory moved Barcelona through to this stage of the competition and Barcelona Luis Enrique has faith that they can do it all over again.

He however doesn't have faith in his defence and fully expects his side to concede.

That means he's targeting five goals, against a side that's only conceded twice.

'If I have to remember the PSG match, it was difficult because we needed to be calm and with a good rhythm with the ball, but also frenetic without the ball, In addition, we needed four goals - this time only three - but bearing in mind that the opponent will score, our goal will be to get five. But If we score the first goal, the Camp Nou will help with the second and then the third will fall into place'. Enrique told Spanish newspaper Marca.

'If we played a game that was not perfect against PSG, then we don't need to do it with Juventus either, We have nothing to lose, the opponent already has the semifinals practically in their pocket and so will have to decide if they want to attack or defend themselves,' he said.

'We have to attack, attack, attack and attack.'

Brazilian Neymar also believes that a repeat of the comeback over Paris Saint-Germain is possible.

"In the Champions League every game is difficult but we are the same team as before and we can do it again. We have to give everything but we believe in the comeback," Neymar told Brazilian TV station Esporte Interativo as quoted by fcbarcelona.com.

UEFA's new system of bonus payments will see each semi-finalists bag €7.5 million.
